Revision log

Material changes published by PetroCalcHub Team. Dates refer to actual revisions, not independent engineering certification.

Complete engineering learning library, studies and teaching packs

  • Added the remaining 132 planned pages: 96 concept guides, 24 original synthetic studies and 12 six-question teaching packs.
  • Connected worked examples, recorded scenario explorers, exact data tables, CSV and method downloads, with printable worksheets and answer keys.
  • Added a studies index, subject navigation, calculator and workflow backlinks, and dedicated numerical and browser checks for the new collection.

Flash, in-place volume, fracture pressure and multiphase lessons

  • Completed the first twelve planned lessons with four source-linked guides, original diagrams, worked examples and practice answers.
  • Added a component-balance explorer from a replayed PR flash, an assumed-recovery control, a defined treatment-pressure ledger and a matched-inlet flow-model comparison.
  • Added numerical replay checks, mobile-readable wide tables and links from parent guides, calculators and related workflows.

Interactive cement, decline, gas compressibility and inflow lessons

  • Added four teaching guides with original diagrams, worked examples, practice questions and source references.
  • Added a two-interval cement ledger, decline time-basis conversion, a local Z-slope explorer and normalized Vogel versus linear IPR curves.
  • Connected each lesson to its calculators, related guides and workflows, with article metadata and sitemap entries.

Interactive lessons for depth, pressure, saturation and Darcy flow

  • Added four source-linked teaching guides with original diagrams, worked substitutions, practice questions and calculator links.
  • Added depth, pressure-budget, Archie-exponent and Darcy-geometry explorers that evaluate the existing equations and retain visible baseline examples.
  • Linked the lessons from related guides and calculator references, with canonical metadata, article dates and sitemap registration.

Verified gas-z solving and measured rheology fitting

  • Added bounded DAK and Hall-Yarborough gas-z solvers with checked pressure-balance residuals and independent 80-digit reference fixtures.
  • Added Herschel-Bulkley least-squares fitting from SI measurements with multi-start optimization, conditioning diagnostics, measured residuals and explicit extrapolation warnings.
  • Rheology measurements are retained with saved workflows and backup files; reports include the measured and fitted stress table.
  • Added source-backed methodology, model envelopes, reciprocal guide links and mobile layout regressions for the two new workflows.

Calculation integrity and linked workflows

  • Corrected MPa-to-psi conversion (145.03773773020923 psi per MPa); blank numeric entries no longer become zero, and input edits invalidate previous results.
  • Added temperature-offset and additional field/SI conversions, with explicit absolute-pressure labels where supported.
  • Saved calculations can reopen, update, rename and delete. Canonical values and display units are stored separately; older single-calculator backups remain readable.
  • Table rows have stable unique identities. PDF reports use the selected saved/current case, recalculate with current formulas and paginate long content.
  • Analysis and Reports use the published inventory; catalogue pagination, discipline filters and compact mobile navigation reduce loading and scrolling.
  • Added cement volume/sacks, Arps decline forecast, saturated PVT comparison and linked drilling hydraulics tools with sources, limitations, worked checks, charts where appropriate, and reusable saved work.

Saved work is recalculated with the current formula when reopened. Recheck results after a formula or unit revision, and retain your exported reports for the original calculation record.
