PetroCalcHub works without account creation. This page explains what remains in your browser, what third-party measurement and ad services may receive, and what happens when you export a backup.
Saved work stays in your browser
Saved calculations and custom equations are stored in your browser's local storage. PetroCalcHub does not require an account or upload that saved-work library to a PetroCalcHub database. Clearing site data, changing browsers, or losing a device can remove it.
Analytics and performance
PetroCalcHub uses Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand visits, searches, calculator use, and site performance. These services may process device, page, referrer, approximate location, and interaction information under their own terms and controls.
Advertising
Google AdSense may display advertising and may use cookies or similar technologies to select, measure, and limit ads. Available consent and advertising controls can vary by location and browser settings.
Portable backup files
A .petrocalc backup is created locally from the work already saved in your browser. You decide where to store or share that file. Anyone who receives it may be able to read and restore its calculation data, so review the file before sharing it.
You can use browser controls to clear local storage, block or delete cookies, or restrict tracking. Those choices can affect saved work, preferences, analytics, and advertising behavior.
