PetroCalcHub Team
PetroCalcHub Team is the publishing and maintenance byline for this site. We maintain the calculator interface, equation definitions, source notes, worked examples and automated checks. The byline identifies the publisher; it is not a claim of professional licensure or a petroleum-engineering qualification.
What our checks establish
Implementation checks compare formula substitutions with expected numbers, test unit conversions and limiting cases, and verify that forms, saved work and exports use the same inputs. A source citation identifies where a relationship or its scope can be checked. Neither a passing test nor a citation establishes that the model is suitable for every reservoir, well or operating condition.
Independent review
No named independent petroleum-engineering reviewer or engineering certification is claimed. Historical record fields may identify an implementation checker; that is distinct from independent domain review. Operational decisions require an appropriately qualified engineer and the actual field data, standards and procedures.
Accountability and corrections
The revision log records material changes. Our methodology explains publication checks, and the corrections page provides a route to report a wrong coefficient, ambiguous unit or source conflict. Include the calculator URL, input values, expected result and supporting reference so the issue can be reproduced.
